Richmond Pioneers
Pioneers come up short against South Hill

South Hill 4 Richmond Pioneers 3. A couple of defensive lapses by the Pioneers and some solid goalkeeping by South Hill resulted in a disappointing loss for the Pioneers, the second loss of the season. The Pioneers cancelled out an early goal by South Hill with a 'Graham cracker', a thunderous shot from 25 yards out. A great strike from John Tsang gave the Pioneers a 2-1 lead, but South Hill came back to take a 4-2 lead late into the game. A late scrambled goal by supersub 'Gario' Byrne made for a frantic finish, but in the end the Pioneers came up short.
